My Toolkit

My facilitator toolkit includes various tips and techniques used to help me help my learners to be more successful and motivated. This was an early assignment as part of my time at CSU, and several of the items included here were in my first draft, when I first created the assignment. It continued to evolve as I learned more, and I expect that it will continue to do so.

Field Trips

The use of field trips can be helpful for both the facilitator and the learner: it activates spatial memory, which improves retention, and also allows the facilitator a break.

Instructional Design Model

Although there are a lot of models for instructional design out there, I developed my own for one of my courses, and I've found that it has worked rather well as a concept.
