Narrative Research Designs

As part of a class on research methods, I presented information from our textbook, Educational Research, by John W. Creswell (2008), and other sources to my peers on narrative research design. The original PowerPoint presentation included audio narration, the text of which is included in the PDF, which can be downloaded below.

I included this because as part of my portfolio to remind myself just how important storytelling can be, from more than just an entertainment perspective. Not only can storytelling be used as a method to relay information in the classroom, but it can also be used to tell a story as part of a research project. This project highlights how to use stories in research, and also includes methods by which narrative research can and should be evaluated.
